Lincoln Park Savings does not discriminate against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (providing that the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract); because all or part of the applicants income derives from any public assistance program; or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. Any individual has the right to file a credit application with Lincoln Park Savings.

Privacy Statement

The policy of Lincoln Park Savings is to comply with all federal and state laws pertaining to the privacy and confidentiality of customer information. In addition, it is inherent in the banking business that we have a duty to protect the confidential and private nature of our customers financial records, and the policy of this Association is that we do so. Therefore, the banks policy is that employees will not divulge financial information on customers to anyone outside the bank, except as specifically authorized by written instructions either from the customer or contained in a written bank procedures statement. When a customer ends their relationship with the Bank, or when we end our relationship with a customer, we will treat the information we have about a customer as if they were still our customer.

To help you better understand how your nonpublic personal information is protected here at Lincoln Park Savings, we are providing you with the following notice. It provides key definitions and describes our practices and policies with respect to the privacy of personally identifiable financial information for consumers, those consumers who become our customers and former customers. While this policy does not apply to business accounts, we do respect the privacy of our commercial customers and we take the steps necessary to protect their information.

Your Right To Financial Privacy

You have the right to know the privacy policies and practices of the financial institutions you deal with respect to information sharing with both affiliates and non-affiliated third parties. This notice describes our privacy policies and practices.

Definitions

We will use certain terms in this notice that are defined as follows:

We, our and us. This will always mean Lincoln Park Savings.

You and Your. This means our customers with whom we have a continuing relationship through one or more accounts, and also consumers who may use a service we provide (such as an ATM) without any real account relationship or someone who may have applied for a loan but was declined.

Publicly available information. Information that is lawfully available to the general public from official public records (such as real estate records or securities filings), information from widely distributed media (such as telephone books, television, radio or newspaper) or information that is required to be disclosed to the general public by Federal, State or Local law (such as securities filings).

Nonpublic personal information. Personally identifiable financial information that is not available from public sources (as described above).

Affiliate. Any company under common control with another company.

Non-affiliated third party. Any person(s) or corporate entity that is not an affiliate or is not a joint employee of a financial institution and a third party.

Consumer Reporting Agency. A person or business which makes a practice of collecting end evaluating consumer credit information for the purpose of furnishing consumer reports to third parties.

Our Privacy Notice

The type of information we collect —

We routinely collect and retain the information we obtain from your account applications, transaction history (for deposits, loans, credit cards, etc.) and from consumer reports. This information helps us:

• To establish and administer your accounts.   
(Example: We ask for personally identifying information to protect your accounts from fraud.)

• To satisfy certain regulatory requirements.
(Example: When you open an account that pays interest, we are required by the Internal Revenue Service to obtain your social security number.)

• Better understand you so that we may provide you with additional or improved products and services.   
(Example: We require information concerning your credit history and your assets to determine if you qualify for loan approval.)

We do not share our current or previous customers nonpublic personal information with affiliates or with non-affiliated third parties except as permitted or required by law.

How is that information protected?

Access to your personally identifiable financial information is limited to officers, employees and directors with a specific business reason for utilizing this data including, but not limited to, promotional, marketing and/or direct-mail advertising purposes. Our employees are educated about the importance of maintaining confidentiality and customer privacy. If necessary, we take appropriate disciplinary steps to enforce our employees responsibility to protect your very personal information.

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

The Bank’s automation systems have a complex set of passwords, user identifications and terminal identifications that limits each employee’s access to information that they require to properly carry out their job responsibilities. In addition, the Bank has a complex system of “firewalls” surrounding its automation systems to ensure that access by unauthorized persons is prevented. Also, the Bank encrypts all e-mail messages transmitted to the Bank from the Bank’s web site location.

Visitors to this web site remain anonymous unless you elect to provide us with personal information via e-mail or any online contact forms.
